Daughter of Parliamentarian Reverted to Islam in Australia

Islam attracts people every day from different religions, age groups, races, and sex. No doubt, Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world for a reason.

Islam provides something which other religion fails to provide because Islam is the natural religion of mankind and it is sent down by Allah (the creator of whatever exist).

The daughter of an Australian MP converted to Islam at the young age of 19. She had a dark past but now she plans to be a good Muslimah.

Brianna Costigan is the daughter of a Member of Parliament from Queensland’s Whitsundays, Jason Costigan. She was accused of drug dealing along with a Muslim man who is now her husband in Sydney.

Brianna, prior to embracing Islam lived a very glamorous life and was involved with drug dealings. She shocked the world when she changed her name and posted a picture of herself wearing a hijab and praising Allah.

She also deleted her previous posts and wrote the caption of the photo as follows, “Never question God’s plan #alhamdulillahforeverything”.

Brianna Taha married her friend Ahmed Taha and converted to Islam. She is a law student at the University of New South Wales, Australia.

She appeared in court last year when she was accused of being a part of dial a dealer cocaine syndicate. She and her now-husband Ahmed both faced charges of drug dealings.

She is charged with two counts of supplying cocaine and knowingly taking part in supplying 2.31g on three or more occasions.

She was arrested last year after an undercover operation where she was caught dealing with the customers who were actually undercover agents.

Her attorney pleaded in the court that although she was a part she wasn’t the mastermind behind any of the drug dealings.

But now it seems that she has really amended her ways and adopted Islam as the way of her life. Although Allah knows better we can pray for her and her husband.
